We just scheduled my TR. I have 2 boys from a previous marriage 13 and 11. My DH has no children but has been such a help the past 5 years with the two boys that we thought it was time to jump in. I have read the Tubal Reversal Message Board for probably the last year or so and you guys are wonderful. I look forward to sharing our new adventure.

My TR surgery went well and I am feeling a little sore, but okay. My lengths were: right tube 7.5 cm and left tube 8 cm.

Dr. Berger frequently performs tubal reversal surgery for women who have had multiple C-sections. "I had 4 c-sections and Dr. Berger went through the same scar and in a couple of weeks you could not even tell he went through it. And I just gave birth to a baby boy 2 months ago."

316) When to Do A Pregnancy Test?
It is possible to have a positive on a home pregnancy test as early as 3 days before your period is due. As long as you detect pregnancy by the time your period is a couple of days overdue, you will be able to begin the pregnancy testing protocol and safely monitor the early pregnancy.

I had my TR in November 2004. I came from England because there is no one like Dr Berger here. I am 41 now. Today I have a positive pregnancy test. I am completely shocked by it, utterly delighted.

322) Lengths of Fallopian Tubes After TR
The fallopian tubes are about 10 cm long before a tubal ligation, though there is probably a lot of individual variation on that. When Dr. Berger does a tubal reversal, we consider any length of 6 cm or more to be long. Even women with much shorter tubes can get pregnant after reversal surgery.

323) Chances Of Having A Second Tubal Reversal Baby
I had my tr by Dr Berger and have a 16 month old little girl. Now we are wanting to try again...Are our chances the same? If the tubes were open before should they be now as well or can things change with time?

I had my TR surgery 3 years today. I am so pleased with the results - we have a 20 month old son and now I am 9 weeks pregnant with my 2nd TR baby. Everything seems to be fine with this pregnancy also. So thanks Dr Berger and staff for everything. Without you I would not be a 41 year old woman pregnant once again after 6 previous children and a TL.

325) Question About My HCG Numbers
After tubal reversal surgery, Dr. Berger recommends an ultrasound examination when the serum HCG level reaches 1500. A black circle (gestation sac) surrounded by a bright white halo (trophoblast) is evidence of an intrauterine pregnancy.
