627) Pain Killer For HSG?
The HSG is a basic fertility test to determine if there is any blockages in your fallopian tubes. When the dye is injected into the uterine cavity, most women will experience some discomfort. For this reason, it is advisable to take Motrin prior to the procedure. Dr. Berger also recommends prophylactic antibiotics for a day before and continuing for a few days after the procedure. A betadine douche is recommended on the evening prior to the test.
